Good Day San Pedro! The countdown has begun as we begin to wrap up season 6 at the Casa. 3 more weeks until our annual seasonal holiday and only 3 more "Tasting Thursday", chef's 5 course, tasting dinners. This week's chef's Tasting Thursday meal is......
1st Course - Stuffed Plum Tomatoes - Seasonally ripe plum tomatoes baked and stuffed with buttered panko, parmesan, garlic and fresh parley finished with a drizzle of balsamic reduction.
2nd Course - Steak Tartare - Diced raw filet mignon with shallots, capers, cornichons and green onions served with crisped crostini and a caper mustard aioli.
3rd Course - Grilled Watermelon Salad - Juicy, grilled watermelon served over baby arugula with cherry tomatoes, feta cheese and a tangy balsamic dressing.
4th Course - Mediterranean Ravioli - House made pasta ravioli stuffed with spinach, green onions mascarpone, ricotta and Romano cheeses finished in a brown butter sauce with a drizzle of tomato and basil coulis.
5th Course - Berries and Cheese - House made strawberry cheesecake ice cream topped with Chantilly cream.
