Tasting Thursday - August 10, 2017
Good Day San Pedro! It's our second to last "Tasting Thursday" for this season so come join the fun and taste the most unique offerings on the island. Here is a sneak peek of tonight's "Tasting Thursday" menu.
This week’s, 5 course chef’s tasting menu is……
1st Course – Papas Brava – Golden deep fried small potatoes tossed in truffle oil and Parmesan served with a garlic aioli and a sprinkle of paprika.
2nd Course - Tuna Carpaccio – Thinly sliced fresh caught black fin tuna served with ponzu and capers topped with a daikon, red radish and microgreen salad.
3rd Course – Hungarian Mushroom Soup – A traditional Hungarian soup made with a mixed mushroom stock, shallots, dill, cream, paprika and lemon topped with a dollop of sour cream.
4th Course – Almond Encrusted Sea Bass – Pan seared sea bass encrusted with almonds and a touch of almond liquor served over thyme, butter sautéed vegetables with a citrus beurre blanc.
5th Course – Banana Wontons – Deep fried wontons stuffed with sweet bananas, shaved Kakaw chocolate and cinnamon topped with a drizzle of Kahlua sauce and house made vanilla ice cream.
